What We Believe
Gospel Fire International is a Bible-believing, Christ-centred missions organisation. We are not a church or denomination; instead, we partner with and strengthen local churches of many traditions for the sake of the Gospel.
Our beliefs stand firmly within historic, orthodox Christianity:
1. The Bible
We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God—true in all that they affirm and sufficient for faith, life, and godliness.
2. God
We believe in one eternal GodFather, Son, and Holy Spirit—perfect in holiness, righteousness, love, and truth.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, risen bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and coming again in glory. He is the only Saviour and the only way to the Father.
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and guides all believers. We affirm the ongoing work of the Spirit in renewing lives, giving spiritual gifts, and building up the Church—always in agreement with Scripture and always pointing people to Christ.
5. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Through the finished work of Jesus—His death and resurrection—God forgives our sins, gives us new birth, and adopts us into His family.
6. The Church
We believe in the one global Body of Christ made up of all true believers.
We value and honour the local church as God’s chosen instrument for discipleship, community, mission, and spiritual growth.
GFI does not replace the local church; we serve and strengthen it across denominations.
7. Christian Life & Mission
We believe every follower of Jesus is called to a life of holiness, obedience, love, and witness. We are committed to taking the Gospel to unreached and hard-to-reach places, making disciples, and encouraging the growth of healthy, Christ-centred churches.
8. The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return bodily, visibly, and triumphantly to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom.
Summary
We are conservative in doctrine, charismatic in practice, and committed to the authority of Scripture, the centrality of Jesus Christ, and the life-giving work of the Holy Spirit.
We work inter-denominationally to support the mission of the local church and to bring the Gospel to places where it has rarely or never been heard.
